Dear All, A message from our Junior Development Officer.
As part of my role as Junior Development Officer I propose to organise a comprehensive program for juniors in 2012. From the success of past events I have listed below some proposed events for 2012 and would like to hear from any Juniors who want to express their interest in any of the events listed:
Pike Clinic – 4th March – Gailey Reservoir
Your chance to learn many different aspects of pike fishing from people that know
Carp Clinic – 3rd June – Sandmere
After the overwhelming success of this event it is back by popular demand
Your chance to learn about all aspects of carp fishing, bait, rigs, casting, spoding and much more.
Fly Fishing Days – 11th March – Catchpenny and 19th May – Lamaload
A chance to learn to cast, make flies and catch a few fish – Each day is limited to 10 Juniors so BOOK EARLY
Angling Development Days – 2nd June – Sandmere 7th June – Swan Lake 16th June – Withnell Top lodge 3rd August – Withnell Top Lodge
These days are designed for Juniors to come along to a fishing day and have the assistance of professional coaches to help, develop and advise. A tackle clinic will be available to give tackle advice, check equipment and give hints and tips. Each day will have a demonstration of a different technique by a skilled angler.
N.B Venues are split on a regional basis
2012 Junior Match Series
The match secretary has organised for the following dates and venues:
9th June – Sandmere 23rd June – Withnell Top Lodge 14th July – Withnell Top Lodge 11th August – Sandmere
The matches will be fished for a trophy as a series with the best 3 out of 4 counting towards the trophy.

Our popular annual event has been moved this year by popular demand to the start of the summer holidays, space is limited so BOOK EARLY
Ribble Open day – 10th June
As well as the usual attractions l am to arrange a “Junior Zone” with some fun activities, workshops, coaching sessions and tackle workshop.
PLEASE NOTE all events have limited space and are booked on a first come first serve basis. In order for me to keep you informed, Juniors must register and send me full details to include:
