The Moat

The PAAS Membership card currently states that all rainbows are to be removed from the Moat.

This ruling was put in-place before we were granted permission by the Environment Agency to restock the Moat with rainbow trout as well as browns.

Hereford Raft Race – River Wye 28th-30th May

The annual Hereford raft race will be passing through out stretches of the Wye between 28th & 30th May.

You may encounter disruptions to your fishing.

Gailey Upper Reservoir

The club have secured Gailey Upper Reservoir and fishing is permitted to working party ticket holders.

Maps will be out in the next HL&S but temporary maps can be obtained by logging into the members forum.

Marbury Mere CLOSED – 12th-15th May 2011

Cound Pool – Invasive Weed

It has been brought to our attention by the E.A that Cound Pool has a non-native weed growing in the margins and all members must take precautions to stop it spreading i.e. Clean nets, unhooking mats, bank sticks, chair mud feet, stink bags etc
