River Dee Bryn Selwrn closed 6th February for fly fishing competition

River Dee Bryn Selwrn stretch, near Bala (PAAS Water No 182) will be closed for the PAAS winter flyfishing trophy on Sunday 6th February.

Thornycroft top lake will be closed on the following dates to allow a controlled shoot to take place.

Please be sure that when fishing this stretch of the Ribble, we use the routes of access and parking which are marked on the map. We have received several complaints of members ignoring these access and parking rules and using the adjacent RADAC access

River Trent – Claymills (water 221)

Dear All The railway underpass is blocked by a piece of temporary fencing. Not sure who is responsible as the farmer was cutting crops in field by sewage works and the electricity board were working on the pylons by the river.
